Hanseatische Natur und Umweltinitiative

Founded by Michael R. Neumann in 1994, the members of the "Hanseatic Nature and Environment Initiative" are Neumann Gruppe companies as well as current or former employees of Neumann Gruppe.

We primarily fund grass-roots projects in nature protection and preservation in Northern Germany that are then implemented by our grantees. Mostly these are small and medium sized projects as they usually have difficulties getting access to public funding.

A focus of our work is to create awareness about environmental issues particularly among young people.
