HRNS granted support by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for project in Uganda

Hamburg/ Kampala. Recently, the foundation Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) has been granted support by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for developing a project assisting up to 20,000 smallholder coffee farmers and their families to increase income and improve their livelihood. With a sound partner network in place, the HRNS has just launched the first phase of the project which will be conducted over a period of four years. The project will work closely with the Uganda Coffee Development Authority, the EU, the rural development projects of USAID and DANIDA, and the Douwe Egberts Foundation. It will be the largest coffee project in Uganda and the largest Robusta project in the world. Click here to read more.
