Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung and Fundação Banco do Brasil signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 4th., 2009, in Brasilia. Both foundations are interested in joining forces in project work for strengthening the situation of smallholder coffee farmers in Minas Gerais. Fundação Banco do Brasil has a long term track record in supporting projects for small scale family businesses in the agricultural sector throughout the countrry by promoting appropriate and environmentally sound techniques, social technology as well as sustainable supply chains.
