Hamburg, July 1^st, 2011 - “Environmental Management Accounting and Supply Chain Management” – this is the title of a publication within a series called “Eco Efficiency and Science” edited by the renowned experts Roger Burritt and Stefan Schaltegger. On the basis of a case study from Vietnam, the possibilities of Environmental Accounting are exemplified.

The publications’ focus lies on environmental accounting of supply chain processes, describing the accounting of and for resources used in the production chain of certain goods (as water footprint). This topic faces growing importance, as Corporate Social Responsibility statements are more and more often matched with transparency of production cycles.
