Olaf Tschimpke has been President since 2003 of the leading German environmental NGO "Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V. - NABU" which also maintains an ample international network. Furthermore he is a member of the Board of Directors of Wuppertal Institut, a sustainability think tank, and sits on the Board of Trustees of Michael Otto Stiftung. Since June 2008 he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung, to which he brings his vast experience in environmental affairs.
