The initiative for coffee&climate (c&c) as an open global partnership of coffee companies and development organizations is solely committed to enable smallholder coffee farming families to better respond to climate change in the short and long term by increasing their adaptive capacity and resilience. c&c was founded in 2010 by key players from the private, the development and the research sector and is implemented by us as Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS). The experiences gained from direct support to farmers in terms of practices and methodologies are brought to scale in different project regions and globally through the c&c toolbox, the initiative’s knowledge sharing hub.
