Partnerships and Reports Coordinator Role

The Partnerships and Reports coordinator will implement HRNS’ fundraising strategy, including preparing proposals and preparing internal and external reports in support of HRNS in Guatemala and Honduras and the global office.

Primary responsibilities

  • Support HRNS global office fundraising activities.
  • Implement a resource management strategy (including identification of donors, potential allies, review of requirements, prioritizing calls for proposals according to requirements aligned with HRNS objectives, editing of the technical and financial proposal) for Guatemala and Honduras
  • Coordinate and prepare external reports for donors and partners in Guatemala and Honduras following information presented in project logical frameworks and goals.
  • Coordinate, establish workflows, and prepare internal reports with the support of administrative, financial, monitoring and evaluation, and HRNS technical teams.
  • Establish information flows and work plans to develop resource management and timely delivery of high quality proposals and donor reports.
  • Close coordination with the M&E Department to develop and implement processes which guarantee quality and continuity of information.
  • Lead the use and administration of HRNS resource management and reporting platforms.
  • Identify funding opportunities and support decision-making on which opportunities to pursue with potential donors and partners.
  • Support the communication and marketing unit (photographs, videos, case studies, blogs, description sheets, posters, banners, etc.) that can be incorporated into reports.
  • Collaborate with other HRNS regions on good practices and resource management and reporting strategies.
  • Collaborate with the resource management teams of HRNS allies in Guatemala and Honduras
  • Support in the development and hosting of trips with donors and other partners.
  • Support HRNS teams in Guatemala and Honduras in the use and administration of reporting and resource management platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations and/or International Trade, or similar area of study.
  • Master's degree (Business Administration, Project Management or Agribusiness) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in reporting and proposal development.
  • Bilingual (Spanish – English) is essential.
  • Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and management platforms (teams, zoom, ZOHO, etc.).
  • Experience in resource management with public and private donors, especially those aligned with sustainable development with a focus on farming families.
  • Good planning skills, relationship management and ability to work effectively with community members.
  • Proven capacity in managing relationships with donors and allies with a focus on farming families.
  • Experience in designing logical frameworks, theories of change and other project preparation tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and punctuality in the execution of assigned responsibilities.

Headquarters: Guatemala City, Guatemala. Availability to travel to the project areas in Guatemala (Huehuetenango, San Marcos, Santa Rosa and Jalapa) and Honduras (Ocotepeque, Copán and Lempira)

Employment Type: Fulltime employee, social security in Guatemala and private insurance.
