Initiative for coffee&climate

The initiative for coffee&climate (c&c) is the coffee sector wide answer on the challenges climate change is posing on smallholder coffee farming. Since being founded in 2010, the initiative for coffee&climate (c&c) is implemented by Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) who also plays a facilitating role.

c&c directly supports smallholder coffee farming families and their communities to effectively respond to climate change and to improve their resilience. To achieve that and to restore and protect landscapes and address smallholder families’ livelihood situation, HRNS is driving action towards c&c’s key areas: innovation, implementation and dissemination.
